do you think this counts as a fresh bouquet?
What exactly are the limits of what a bouquet can be?
Every year at Halloween I grant myself the gift of hours, hours playing with things grown in my garden and procured from the produce section to concoct some sort of Halloween nonsense, and in the process I decorate a pumpkin or two. This year it was three. I’ve come to think of them as sort of ‘inner child bouquets’.
This year I stacked three large pumpkins, with the aid of some rebar and wire and then snipped and clipped from every corner of the garden to turn them into a goofball totem pole of comic characters. Last year (below), I took the last of my very prolific haricot vert green beans and turned them into hair for my pumpkin, whom I then named Harry Covert. He was a rather unlikely looking secret agent (covert, of course), whose mother called him ‘punkin’ and whose daddy was a French bean.
So you tell me, in your nonsensical, imaginary world, would the fruit of this sort of play count as a fresh bouquet?

This is just so fun! Our local county fair has a division called “Creepy Critters”, in which you make a ‘critter’ out of veggies, fruit, flowers…whatever works. And, since it is part of the Floral Department, I’d say YES–it counts as a “fresh bouquet”. So, yours does, too!
Great work keep it coming
Of course it does. Just one that is really heavy when being delivered! Super shots. I wish we saw this kind of creativity on our neighborhood steps!!
cool
Can’t decide if your pumpkins are channelling Groucho Marx or Albert Einstein with a little Erckel thrown in, but they’re great fun. And of course they’re bouquets!!
